Blizzcon 2014 just happened and some pretty big news came out of it, here are the highlights.

Overwatch

The biggest news of Blizzcon this year was the announcement of Blizzard's first new IP in 17 years. The game is called Overwatch and it's a shooter set on Earth 60 years in the future. The game director is Jeff Kaplan who actually was the director for World of Warcraft in the beginning. Have a look at the trailer and gameplay videos here.

WoD > New character models coming to WoW!

The new WoW expansion "Warlords of Draenor" is just around the corner now! One of the best changes that's coming is all the character models are being updated to Pandaren standards.

Most of the character models have been in the game for about 10 years now so it's certainly a welcome change. Blizzard have tried their best to retain the original "spirit" of the character models and simply up their fidelity instead of changing them too much.

Here are some of the previews for the models released so far, starting with my fave the Draenei ^_^

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls

Here is the Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls Collector's Edition and its contents that was released a couple of months ago :).

It's Diablo III's 2nd anniversary tomorrow! To celebrate, Blizzard have doubled both rift fragment and legendary drops for a whole week, starting midnight!

So what are you waiting for? Go slay some demons!

**World of Warcraft (Yay!! +_+ lol)

The new expansion for WoW was announced and it's called "Warlords of Draenor". This expansion will take place in Draenor, which is the planet Outland used to be.

What we know about the story and how we manage to get to the past is that Garrosh, the overthrown Orcish Warchief that was defeated at the end of Mists of Pandaria escapes from his jail. He hooks up with 'a friend' that can 'bend time' and goes back to a time that would believe in his true Orcish ideal. He goes back in that time and meets up with all the heroes of the old world from the first war like Blackhand, Gul'dan, Durotan, Kilrogg, Ner'zhul, Kargath and (Grom) Hellscream.
