Review & Tips > Year-round Skin Care Must Haves for All Skin Types - Part 1: Toner -

My reviews on the products are very personal, and I, myself, am not affiliated with the company producing the products. I always do my best to keep my review very neutral, yet, friendly and more focused on results after using the products rather than ingredients or benefits advertised by the company. Although this enabled me to tell whether the product's description turns out to be fool- proof or not, for various personal skin needs/issues, I cannot guarantee that the products which worked on my skin will definitely work on yours.

Hi all, I thought I might write about something more practical today; skincare products that all of you can rely on for every season! :) I haven't really suggested cheaper alternatives on my previous posts, but this time I'll include some for the budget-minded.

I'm splitting this post into many so it's not too long, this one contains tips on toners. I plan on covering serums and moisturisers as well as part of this series. So let's get started :)

Review > OMOROVICZA > Part 1: Mist / Toner & Treatments

I always do my best to keep my review very neutral, yet, friendly and more focused on results after using the products rather than ingredients or benefits advertised by the company. It has already been almost 4 years since I started using Omorovicza products O_O.
Time flies, hey! >_<
Trust me, I've been meaning to make this post sooner, but I just didn't realise how many Omorovicza products I've been using/keeping in my bathroom cabinet :O.
Although I don't use Omorovicza products daily like La Prairie ones, I've been enjoying their products at least weekly!
Last weekend, I dashed to organise my beauty cabinet a bit since my family's visiting me at the end of this month XD
I know it is very exciting and I'm very much looking forward to it. But at the same time, I don't want them to get freaked out from my messy giant collection of beauty products haha :P.

Anyways, I will start off by reviewing Omorovicza Mist/Toner & Treatments, then move onto other Serums/Concentrates, cleansers & peel, moisturisers and body care products over a few posts.
I hope you find this post helpful as usual! :)

Review > LA MER Skincare Purchase Guide!

I have been organising my beauty cabinet recently and was surprised by how much I have been relying on Sisley's basic skincare range >_< So I thought it might be a good opportunity to talk about the ones that I have been religiously using for the last 6 years or so >_< I have raved about their basic line in the previous post that I wrote. I do use other products from the Sisley skincare range, but this time, I will only talk about their toners and masks to start off with :). So this post is the first part; Sisley Toners ( To read about Part two: Sisley Face Masks, click Here) . If you are a fan of light and refreshing toners, Sisley is the way to go. By the way, I do use other toners from other brands, so I do not just use Sisley ones soley >_<.

**Review > SISLEY Skincare > Part One: Toners / Mist

Here is what La Prairie website claims;

  • Gently tones and refreshes the skin
  • Soothes the skin while it helps minimize pores
  • Helps retexturize and smooth the skin
  • Rinses away final traces of makeup and impurities that may remain after cleansing

I have posted my review on Age Management Balancer last week. Anyways, this Refining lotion is basically almost similar to it.

With using a cotton pad, this clear lotion is very great for removing all the remaining dirt and impurities after your face wash. I personally think that this toning lotion may work well even for those with sensitive/dry/dehydrated skin.  If you have oily/combination skin, not so surprisingly,
