Review > High-end Hydrating Moisturiser Comparison (Guerlain vs La Mer vs La Prairie vs Sisley)

Gustav Klimt < Adele Bloch-Bauer I >

I've noticed an increasing number of people talking about "anti-aging" skin care for the last few years, regardless of the age. It seems to me that it's just nothing but a popular trend among consumers and companies. But in fact, if we think about what real "anti-aging" skin care is, it's just a balance between inner and outer beauty. Meaning, you can't simply just pile on expensive products without a healthy life style and expect that you can delay aging of your skin.

Review > Sisley Moisturizer with Cucumber

My reviews on the products are very personal, and I, myself, am not affiliated with the company producing the products. I always do my best to keep my review very neutral, yet, friendly and more focused on results after using the products rather than ingredients or benefits advertised by the company. Although this enabled me to tell whether the product's description turns out to be fool- proof or not, for various personal skin needs/issues, I cannot guarantee that the products which worked on my skin will definitely work on yours.

I made a comparasion post on the luxury skin care brands, so if you are interested or if you are new to luxury skin care brands, make sure you check it out ;).

Also have a look at my review on Sisley face masks if you are interested! :)

Over the weekend, I was organising my bathroom cabinet which I do monthly, and I have found that there's something common going on in all my most loved/used face masks. That is: ROSE! Apparently I have been loving masks with rose as an ingredient without even realising it! >_<  Rose smells not only beautiful, but it is also an excellent resource for hydrating skin. Anyway, I thought this might be a good review/guide for rose face masks for those who are in love with rose like I am! :) I am sorry if you find these products below quite expensive, but these are what I use as they work brilliantly on my skin, and this is my recommendation. And in general, the rose ingredient is very expensive, so you cannot imagine the producer will set price lower than this price point sadly. LOL. I wish they would lower the price, but I can understand why they don't at the same time :P.
I hope you find this post helpful like my other posts! Thank you for reading :)

*****Sorry! I just realised that I have not posted this one in English version :S. So, I am posting this now, and hopefully this will help for your future decision on these skincare brands! :)

I feel that it is very easy to be deluded by all the ads and reviews on luxury skincare brands from magazines, YouTube, blogs..etc.
It is not like we can buy literally ALL OF THEM ..:(
Simultaneously, we get readily scared/paranoid of breakouts or the product's inefficiencies.
Very natural indeed since we paid FORTUNE for these products and therefore have very high expectations on the products that we buy.

Perhaps this explains why some of you asked me a few questions on those luxury skincare brands since my last post on La Prairie Skincare  Purchase Guide.

And I thought...

HMMMM
Why not compare some of the luxury skincare brands that I have been using?!

By the way, I am very well aware of the fact that there are more luxury brands on the market, but I am only dealing with the ones that are more widely known throughout the world.
I hope this post will help you with choosing the right brand/product for your skin.
Enjoy it!  :)

I promised to write a post on my summer holiday travel kit on my bikini post about a month ago. And here we are! :) (Apologies for delay! >_<)

If you have visited Australia before (or live in Australia), you would know how hot it is in summer. :(
Especially in Queensland, it gets very hot and humid at the same time.
Accordingly your skin gets very stressed from both the boiling hot weather and air conditioner.

There are all these dark sides behind a sexy hot summer. Bah. :(
Anywho, No Pain No Gain, we love summer, so let's now talk about what to pack for our holidays!

Part One: Skin Care

[** I have combination skin, i.e. oily on T-zone and normal or slightly dry on the rest. And I get breakouts very easily. Meaning, these products may not work on your skin. ]
